We are learning to connect with our prior knowledge when reading.
This gives our brain a ‘head start’ and helps understand what we read and increase our comprehension.

My favourite daily 5 activity is word work. I think CAFE reading is a very good way to improve your reading and it’s not boring.

I think that cafe reading and daily 5 is a great way to learn to read in different ways. We learn how to use expression and new words that we understand, now we probably will use them in our speech,writing and many others.

I have really enjoyed CAFE reading this year. I’ve learnt a lot of ways you can improve on reading skills. I also love CAFE reading sessions, when you get to lie down and read, especially after lunch so you can have a rest from running around.
